This doesn't really belong in any other category.
I was recently fucked by the carnival, (Carnival Cruise Lines) that is.
I put my resume in, and got a call back sometime last week, telling me that
I had a job with them.
I was stoked , so I went and bought suitcases and new clothes.
Next day I get another call from them, about a security deposit on my uniform.
I didn't mind paying the $250.00 since I would get it back after my first week of work.

So after a week of not hearing from him , I look him up and find http://www.nbc13.com/news/3526992/detail.html

Maybe I'll be more skeptikal next time. intp/blushing.gif

What? The shit cops around here?
I don't necessarily want to bust him , his scam was quite impressive and elaborate.

funny-i was thinking that as well-the elaborate impressive part.
Awhile back i bought a breif-case from a department store here in NZ that has a 1 yr money back policy if you break the breifcase, anyway i used it for a schoolbag(reactions at school were mixed) and then after 3 weeks it broke (go figure-it was only $25) so i went back and returned it, Then after a few weeks it was starting to look-ah-less new to me so i broke a hinge and went back again.
Then i decided that having new breifcases all the time was nice so i continued the cycle about 6 times.
finaly they saw that i was retuning it alot and the reciept i was showing them was a return reciept (and they ask for personal detail-ph no. address ect) so they asked if i would like to get a new bag instead of a breifcase-i declined...did it once more...and then sold the new one to a guy at school for $20.
Actually now that i think about it ive done a few minor scams over the years.
ah well

I once read an article on one of the nations better scammers. I thought his method ingenious, albeit corrupt.

One of the things I've been wondering since taking the MBTI test, and given our desire to take over the world at times (or at least the major airlines), is what type are most criminals?

I have scammed before.
The way we used to get party money ,was to sell fake rafel tickets,
under the name of a fake church.

I think any crime we do would be likely to be scams and 'sneaky undercover' type crimes-i think we would probably steer clear of criminal activities like breaking and entering.
but if anyone out there has-please tell

Agreed.

B & E would be too honest...

If I'm going down I'm doing it in an ingenious manner. And I'm taking the airlines with me, bastards that they are (I'm a little bitter right now...don't fly Ted [or United for that matter]). They suck.

After my demise, I'm gonna leave half of what I gained to my dog, out of spite for man's idiocy. The other half will be in taxes, I'm sure.

At my funeral I shall be, unbeknownst to others, blended and served to the innocent. biggrin.gif
