| Start submitting names for me to choose! Someone mentioned "Sir Vaga" Personally, having been here for a long time, hearing her have to tell hoardes of people she was a girl, and her nickname being Vaga, it just brings to mind the word vagina. Maybe someone could make a cruel and embarrising pun out of it? Right now I'm pretty tapped for ideas. Maybe I'll try later. |

| Not meaning to interfere (who, me? 1) I will have to carry that name for the rest of my life (well sort of 2) I scored as Hitler on the famous leader test |

| Sir Adolf Vaga, then? |

| Names that start with "Hooded" sound good: The Hooded Observer The Hooded Traveler The Hooded Flame I suggested Sir Vagabond just to be mean, but I suppose it's up to you. |

| It's a guy! Or perhaps: Dude looks like a lady. |
| Posted by: Vagabond May 19 2004, 10:46 PM | ||
Hm. "It's a guy"...? I thought the idea was to make it clear I am not a guy |

| Interesting connection... 1909-1913 was known as Hitler's vagabond era (the time before he joined the army and went to fight in WW1). And since I watch way to much Monty Python, will suggest "National Bocialist" after one of my favorite skits, where we see John Cleese as "Mr. Hilter" |

Oh, and my suggestion was rather the opposite; I feel so ashamed. How about "the soup-clearer", or simply: "natural order"? |

| I wonder what vagabond means, anyways? *looks it up* vagabond a., n.: vagrant. homeless wanderer; tramp; nomadic; wayward If you want a title that clues people in on your gender, something with "tramp" would help! Seriously though, I didn't even know how close I was to the meaning of "vagabond" when I picked Hooded Traveler. |

| "Dude Looks Like a Lady" is actually a song about a lady who looks like a dude, at least as I understand the lyrics...so it might actually be an appropriate title, if misleading. |

| How about "the hooded crow"? Many Greek goddesses were capable of shape shifting into hooded crows. Hecate was one, and I think she also wore a hooded cloak in human form. There is also the Celtic war goddess Morrigan who shape shifted into a crow to fly over the battlefield. What do you think Vaga? I know its not the most flattering of names, but it has a feminine connotation and Greek influence. Could also use the latin "Corvus cornix" or maybe the Greek…what would that be? |

| Wow, most of those names sound great... "The Hooded Traveller" I like most of all, but it is up to Division I guess |

| I dub thee "The Hooded Fury" NGene can add it now. Vaga, if you don't like it, just PM me and we'll work something out. It should take care of you being presumed a man, at least in this forum. |

| Well, I should be furious at you to justify my new name It has to be the previous person's choice, Div. The fact that I am never furious is irrelevant (My guess is that I will be considered a man even if I go by "Lolita" or something... when I once described myself as a self-preservational bitch, people thought I was a male with lost sense of sexual identity or something, so I was still "he - his - him"...) |

Furies are creatures from mythology! Don't they teach Greek mythology in Greece?
|

| Well... The greek name by the way is Erinys or Erinya... that is why it rang no bells I love it. |
