Describe, using 3 different adjectives, a Body of water. Q4. Describe, using 3 different adjectives, an All-white room. If anyone knows what this is, don't ruin it for everyone else, it doesn't work once explained. |

| OK, now you are seriously putting my P-ness in challenge, but I feel stupid not being able to decide which colour I will describe, so here it goes... Q1: dark electric blue: mysterious, intriguing, deliberating (I had a second choice on that - deep green, which would be peaceful, nurturing and protective) Q2: horse: proud, free, wise (of course I could go on and on about horses Q3: ocean: cold, hostile, dangerous Q4: all-white room: hell (I prefer eternal fire burning me up... honestly!), loss of self, coldness (So tell me doc... is my condition serious...? |

| Oh boy, INTP's_rule! has some good results! |
| Posted by: CosmicDust May 16 2004, 03:53 AM |
| This is like that cube, sunset, horse, and flowers game that went around when I was in high school, I'm guessing (and have been guessing for a little while - the comment about Division's good results helped to amplify my suspicion). -Edited- You weren't supposed to post your thoughts on the quiz's meaning. It was stated in the begining of the post. I'll post it after enough people have taken it. Shame on you Cosmic. -Div56 -Edited- |

| Actually, you're way off! And it said to not post solutions, so why are you? |

| I was posting solutions to the quiz I remembered from my youth, not this one. Sorry for breaking the law. Flame wars don't get to me, yet getting busted for my idiocy does... The unpleasant thought occurred to me, an hour and a half after my original posting of this message: I might be the first person on this forum to ever have to be "disciplined" via official deletion of out-of-line post content. If I ever post enough to be named, you folks can call me "The Pioneer Cyber-Criminal." |

| I'm dying to know the secret behind this one, it kinda reminds me of a visual interaction test my teacher did on me in grade school. |
| Posted by: Division56 May 16 2004, 10:08 AM | ||
And you notice I had to put shame on you in there just for kicks and giggles. It's alright, it gave me a chance to try out my mod powers. |
| Posted by: Division56 May 16 2004, 12:43 PM | ||
Actually, I meant his results were so self-righteous it was rather hilarious. |
| Posted by: INTrPosr May 16 2004, 02:46 PM | ||
I ditto Vagabond's sentiment wholly..... kinda scary..... |

| I would think that a place like this shouldn't need moderation at all. This is no EIDB full of serious trolls, multiple petty flame wars occurring simultaneously, and ethical debates about challenging people's self-perceived types. Maybe I've spent so much time there that I've become a deviant myself, or else I'm a natural deviant which is why I spend time there. But perhaps the fact that it is no EIDB is what makes misdemeanors like spoiling games the only punishable crimes in these parts. Someone who likes to speed a little might have the biggest police record in a low-crime small town, but would be a pretty average citizen in a high-crime city. |

| Oh, get over your-self. |
| Posted by: Vagabond May 16 2004, 07:31 PM | ||
No moderation at all...? And who would control those terrible trolls trying to spread spelling mistakes all over our board...? |
| Posted by: int May 17 2004, 12:31 AM |
| red; bloody, hot, fury dog; friendly, loyal, needy ocean; grand, blue, clear All-white room; asylumlike, clean, neurotic |

| Not answering ifyou are waiting on me (yes delusions of grandeur,LOL). I AM very curious of the results tho =p ~Tim |
| Posted by: Vagabond May 17 2004, 09:36 PM | ||
HA... noway. I suggest we get the results with PMs and let you fry with curiosity (joking... although I must admit it sounds tempting... |
| Posted by: shaytana May 17 2004, 10:12 PM |
| LOL I second that motion. |
| Posted by: flan2dave May 18 2004, 09:39 PM |
| I'm expecting something pretty good for a multi-day wait for test results. |
| Posted by: Vagabond May 19 2004, 05:36 PM |
| Oh Division... HELLO... do you have a deadline to tell us the results or is it infinite awaitance...? |
| Posted by: Division56 May 19 2004, 05:57 PM |
| You mean you want me to give results? I was just doing this for my own amusment. Each question is supposed to represent your feelings about an archtype of the sub-conscious. Courtesy of Jung. #1 Self #2 Others #3 Sex Life #4 Death Don't yell at me if you don't like your results. |
| Posted by: Vagabond May 19 2004, 06:00 PM |
| What is "others" supposed to mean...? In general? Oh man... I am disappointed. |
| Posted by: flan2dave May 19 2004, 06:36 PM |
| See "Lively, Hot, and Steamy" for NGene's #3 response. |
| Posted by: grokkfried May 19 2004, 06:36 PM |
| I'm impassive. I expected a bit more, but I suppose it's my fault for expecting. |
| Posted by: Lovechild May 19 2004, 10:06 PM | ||
Then why do I suddenly hope NGene's husband is smiling? |
| Posted by: Amberite May 28 2004, 09:47 AM |
| I'm not sure what "others" mean here, either... Fortunately I wrote down my answers before I saw the key. So here are they: orange (self): rebelious, individualistic, wild (woohoo! wolf (others): lonely, loyal, silent (am not sure I understand... maybe it's supposed to be the sort of people I like?) river: deep, not transparent, mysterious (I never considered sex too much of a mystery, but oh well all-white room: scary, cold, cage-like (yeah, that fits, I guess) Fun |
| Posted by: NGene Jun 1 2004, 11:32 AM | ||
Of course he is smiling. The description is truthful and accurate. Byt the way, sorry to disappoint you guys, but I guessed what the question #3 was about and answered accordingly. So I cheated. I confess. But it's all Division's fault I guessed it. If INTPs_Rule! posts this answer: "Long Island Sound; large, long, wet" and Division says INTPs_Rule! has some good results, you don't even need a dirty imagination to count one plus one. |
| Posted by: Division56 Jun 1 2004, 02:09 PM |
| I didn't say "good", I said funny. There's a difference. |
| Posted by: NGene Jun 1 2004, 03:06 PM | ||||
No you didn't, you said "good."
See? |
| Posted by: misspadfoot Jun 3 2004, 05:31 PM | ||||
You know, if you want more moderation around here, I'm perfectly happy to be the resident grammar Nazi. Yourself is one word. |
| Posted by: brainstorm Jun 4 2004, 04:15 AM | ||
I know this is only my third post, but I move to disqualify shaytana. The instructions for this excercise clearly specified 3 adjectives for each noun. "strategic hunter"? or strategic, hunter? She has cleverly tried to stretch the rules to put herself at an advantage. OK, so here's my official answer: orange; warm, vibrant, inviting alligator; adaptable, stealthy, dangerous river; long, winding, flowing white room; sterile, boring, authoritarian I'll be keeping an eye on you shaytana. |
